Indo-Swiss AMR Innovation Dialogue 2025
April 27, 2025 — May 2, 2025Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is one of the most pressing global public health crises. Our most valuable tools in modern medicine—antibiotics—are becoming less effective, and we are also encountering growing challenges from non-bacterial microbes like fungi and parasitic worms. To find new solutions, at the end of April we will convene for the second time for the Indo-Swiss AMR Innovation Dialogue, building on the discussions of the first dialogue in October 2023, where nearly 50 Swiss and Indian experts gathered to discuss innovative approaches to address AMR and find collaborative ways to confront the crisis. The second iteration will include fresh perspectives from the Indian and Swiss AMR ecosystems.

Academia Industry Training (AIT) Programme 2023
November 27, 2023 — December 1, 2023Ten scientists from Swiss universities—part of this year's Academia Industry Training (AIT) Programme—will be spending one week in Bengaluru to discover the Indian market and seek collaborations with a view to solving global challenges at scale in the spaces of sustainability, deeptech and medtech. This includes technologies in low-cost electrolysers for green hydrogen manufacturing; heat exchange systems for efficient heating and cooling for built environments; robots for inspections/rescue operation and manufacturing; and sepsis detection in neonates. The cohort, which has been chosen via a competitive process and is among the best in Switzerland, will also be pitching alongside Indian innovators at the Bengaluru Tech Summit.
