Swissnex in San Francisco and Pro Helvetia organized the SwissGames delegation to GDC 2023 with support by Presence Switzerland.

Amidst this constant rise of the global stock of robots, robotic education has become more crucial for younger generations. However, existing educational tools are either too expensive or gender-biased, targeting mainly male audiences and reinforcing gender inequality in tech. Therefore, IMAGICLY – an EdTech toy – proposes to address this gap in the market and make robotic education accessible for a broader target audience, conveying gender inclusivity.

They thoroughly develop product design strategies and product range plans with and for their clients. They offer tools to then materialize and manifest those strategies as coherent products.
Industrial designer Sandra Kaufmann and artist Monika Fink have been experimenting with glasses in their Zurich studio as an ideal folding object for many years. In the beginning, the goal was to develop sunglasses that were as light as possible and that could be folded to save space. With the idea of the combined unit of smartphone case and reading glasses, the requirements increased, especially with regard to dimensions.
An Industrial designer with a strong interest in innovation based on a deep understanding of new usages and manufacturing processes. With a range of expertise including industrial design, furniture, UI and space, the studio turns carefully thought scenarios into identifiable products to develop companies’ identity.
We regularly host Swiss creatives and other changemakers through our programs, and are always looking for ways to expand our network of mentors and experts who are crucial for the success of our programs. Mentors/experts can be based in Switzerland or the US West Coast.
