ECAL alumni Maya Bellier completed her residency at Swissnex in San Francisco last month and published a series of comics to reflect on her experience during her stay in San Francisco. Her initial goal was to take advantage of the unique arts and technology scene in the Bay Area, but quickly realized that the cultural and social differences between the Bay Area and Europe would present her with a unique opportunity to learn and grow in ways she had not anticipated.

The comics (featured below) are meant to illustrate her journey during those four weeks and give the outside world a glimpse of her experience.
