This month, Swissnex is taking part in Climate Week NYC 2023, the largest annual climate event of its kind, from September 17 to 24 in New York City. Featuring over 400 events, Climate Week is a global gathering of leaders in business, government, and civil society dedicated to driving climate action. The week also marks the kickoff of the first edition of Climate Collider, the new startup exchange program powered by Swissnex and Innosuisse.
Swissnex will host two public events during Climate Week NYC:
- Tuesday, September 19 | Watts Next? The Future of Green Energy and Storage | Presented in collaboration with the Swiss Business Hub USA, the event will explore the future of the energy sector, drawing on perspectives from across industries.
- Wednesday, September 12 | Climate Innovators Café | Presented by Swissnex and Impact Hub New York Metropolitan Area, the event will bring together an international group of climatetech entrepreneurs. The event will kick off with a keynote address by Peter Freudenstein, Climate Policy Manager at Climeworks, the pioneering Swiss company specializing in direct air capture (DAC) technology. It will also feature pitches from members of Climate Collider’s inaugural cohort as well as entrepreneurs affiliated with Impact Hub.
