Swissnex is the Swiss global network connecting Switzerland and the world in education, research, innovation, and the arts. In Brazil, we are based in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, with activities reaching across the country and other parts of Latin America.
Our Global Mission
The Swissnex network’s mission is to support the outreach and active engagement of Swiss partners in the international exchange of knowledge, ideas, and talent. The six main Swissnex locations are established in the world’s most innovative regions. Together with more than 20 Science and Technology Offices (STOs) and Counselors (STCs) based at Swiss embassies, we contribute to strengthening Switzerland’s profile as a world-leading innovation hotspot. Our Partners
Swissnex is an initiative of the Switzerland’s State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI) and is part of the Confederation’s network abroad managed by the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA). The Swissnex activities are based on a collaborative approach, relying on public and private partnerships and funding.
