Swissnex Startup Internationalization Programme

How does the Swissnex Internationalization Programme accompany Swiss technology startups on their journey along the most important steps?

Globalization drives the world’s economy continuously towards the forefront of technical capabilities of innovation by overcoming the constraints of geographies. In particular, startups from countries with small domestic markets and born global – like Switzerland, need to internationalize early and efficiently in order to overcome these challenges and survive. Together with Innosuisse, the Swissnex network has supported startup internationalization for over 10 years. Currently available in 8 countries (USA, UK, Israel, China, India, South Korea, Brazil, and Japan), the Swissnex Internationalization Camp guides Swiss technology-based startups in their global journey along the most critical steps, which will be presented in this webinar.

    Charlotte Chenu

    Embassy of Switzerland in the UK

    Charlotte Chenu is the Science and Innovation Project Manager at the Embassy of Switzerland in the UK, where she runs the Innosuisse Internationalisation Programme. She graduated from the University of Lausanne (HEC) business school and now supports innovative Swiss startups entering the UK market. Throughout her career in Switzerland, India, and now in the UK, Charlotte has built several programs and events that support entrepreneurs at every stage of their growth. She has successfully guided Swiss startups in their journey by advising them on their internationalization strategy and connecting them to investors, corporates, and partners.

    Vincent Neumann

    Swissnex in Brazil

    As Innovation and Startups Program Manager, Vincent connects the Swiss and Brazilian innovation ecosystems and supports entrepreneurs in their soft landing in a foreign market through Swissnex’s vast network and by organizing specialized events and programs to connect the relevant actors. A further responsibility is fostering international collaborations and projects in biodiversity and sustainability, striving towards the SDGs through Swiss-Brazilian joint efforts in innovation, academia, and education. He has a Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs from the University of St.Gallen and is currently finishing his Master’s degree in environment and sustainability at the FGV in Rio de Janeiro. Brazil became the epicenter of his personal and professional journey when he started working for a local NGO in 2019 and finally wrote his final thesis in and about Brazil.
