Swissnex in Brazil, together with Fapespa, Fiocruz, and Sesc, are pleased to invite partners and stakeholders to the nexBio Amazônia program launch on November 7, 2023.

nexBio Amazônia aims to unite Swiss and Brazilian startups to work in areas of the Amazon bioeconomy. The main objective is to initiate sustainable, short-term, easy, and quick-to-implement technological solutions that improve the sustainability and efficiency of existing production chains.

To maximize the impact of this initiative, we will hold a co-creation workshop on November 7, 2023, in Belém do Pará to build the thematic axes of the open innovation program. For this stage, we have invited government authorities, experts from academia, civil society, commerce, and industry from the state of Pará.

The results of this work will be presented at the nexBio Amazônia launch event. On this occasion, we will share the context and methodology used with our partners and institutions interested in being part of this new Swiss-Brazilian open innovation program.

This is an excellent opportunity to create new connections, identify possible synergies, and celebrate together this new step toward a sustainable transition in the bioeconomy.
