As the field of quantum computing advances from research labs toward commercial deployment, the resilience and scalability of supply chains—spanning hardware, software, materials, and talent—are becoming critical to sustaining progress. In this second edition of Quantum Commons, a facilitated panel discussion will bring together experts from academia, industry, and policy to examine emerging research priorities and industry trends in quantum computing, explore the strategic challenges and opportunities inherent in developing resilient supply chains, and consider new pathways for strengthening transatlantic collaboration in quantum technologies.
Following the conversation, guests are invited to continue networking over Afternoon Tea, with a curated selection of teas, sandwiches, scones.
Quantum Commons is an event series presented by several Boston-area quantum partners, including representatives from Atlantic Quantum, GESDA, Harvard, Pasqal, QuEra, the UK Science and Technology Network, and Swissnex. The series is designed as a platform for quantum players from various sectors to come together to discuss key issues, while helping to build community, awareness, and visibility for the Boston quantum ecosystem.

Ona Ambrozaite
US East Coast Director
UK Science and Technology Network (STN)Dr. Ona Ambrozaite is the East Coast Director for the UK Science & Technology Network at the British Consulate General Boston. Ona’s Ph.D. work in Chemistry at Johns Hopkins University focused on developing novel 1D and 2D semiconducting quantum materials and tunable optoelectronic properties with applications in quantum sensing, computing, communication, and beyond. Ona’s international experiences led her to launch the Science Diplomacy Hub in D.C. together with 2003 Nobel Laureate in Chemistry Prof. Peter Agre. With a multidisciplinary background ranging from biochemistry and molecular genetics to semiconductors and quantum information science, Ona looks forward to using science diplomacy as a tool to advance international research and innovation partnerships and build strong synergies between academic fields, industry, government, and other sectors.
