Kein Kino
Interdisciplinary lectures in art & design
In collaboration with the Department of Design at Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK), Swissnex presents events as part of the interdisciplinary lecture series Kein Kino.
Kein Kino is a lecture series is presented online and in person at ZHdK’s on-campus cinema, Kino Toni, inviting speakers to discuss their projects at the intersection of design, art, and technology, from game design, to video art, social media, immersive arts, dance, theater, film, and new media. Speakers examine trends critically and identify productive collaborations between disciplines. The series is intended as an invitation to exchange knowledge and to provide impulses for cross-disciplinary projects.
The idea for the Kein Kino lectures originated as part of REFRESH, a festival initiated by the Department of Design and the Immersive Arts Space of the Zurich University of the Arts.

The theme of the current edition of the series is "Design Realities – Future Technologies."
