In this edition of Kein Kino, Annabelle Schneider introduces her work in experience design with a strong focus on well-being through technology and multi-sensory spatial design. As a faculty member at Parsons and a global branding expert for brands like Vitra and Laufen, she has worked on spatial installations for renowned artists like Daniel Arsham and events such as Salone del Mobile, Complexcon, and Off-White runways. Her research explores humane technology integration, neuroscience, and sound frequencies, including therapeutic applications. In this presentation, Annabelle will highlight her latest projects, Breathe with Me and Being in Bed, globally recognized for blending digital and physical environments.
Kein Kino is an interdisciplinary lecture series presented by the Department of Design of Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK), focusing on projects at the intersection of design, arts, and technology, with the goal of examining trends critically and identifying productive collaborations between disciplines. The theme of the current edition of Kein Kino is “Design Realities – Future Technologies.”

Annabelle Schneider is a Swiss-born, New York-based experience designer and brand strategist renowned for creating immersive spatial installations that merge physical and digital environments. Her work focuses on fostering well-being through healing, grounding spaces that blend sound, movement, and technology. With an MFA from Parsons School of Design, where she is also a faculty member, Annabelle’s projects span across art, wellness, and spatial design in virtual and physical realms. Notable exhibitions include “Breathe with Me” for NYCxDESIGN and “BEING IN BED” at Art Basel Miami or SWAB Barcelona. She collaborates with leading architects and brands to design experiences that inspire community and emotional connection.
