Antonio Paolillo
Senior Researcher, SUPSI
Antonio Paolillo is a Senior Researcher at IDSIA, USI-SUPSI, leading social human-robot interaction research. With a Ph.D. from Sapienza, he hold roles at EPFL, Idiap (Switzerland) and CNRS (France and Japan). He focuses on intuitive, adaptive robotics using AI, machine learning and control, contributing to research projects and serving as editor and workshop chair.
Victor Klemm
PhD Student, RSL ETH Zurich
Victor Klemm is a Swiss roboticist and PhD candidate at ETH Zurich’s Robotic Systems Lab, supervised by Prof. Marco Hutter and Prof. Roland Siegwart. His research focuses on advancing design and control of wheeled-legged robots by combining deep reinforcement learning with optimization-based methods, enabling agile and versatile robotic mobility.
Roman Dautzenberg
Co-Founder, AITHON Robotics, ETH Zürich
I grew up internationally and bring that curiosity and adaptability into my work at AITHON Robotics. I thrive on complex challenges and prefer solving them together to alone. I’m high-energy – recharging with anything from music festivals, cycling, tennis or being outdoors.
Tifanny Portela
PhD Fellow, ETH AI Center
Originally from Switzerland, I’m a PhD fellow at ETH AI Center working at the intersection of AI and robotics. With roots at EPFL, the University of Sydney, and MIT, my research focuses on developing control strategies that enable legged robots to operate safely and autonomously in complex, real-world environments.
Pascal Sager
PhD Student, Centre for Artificial Intelligence, ZHAW & Associated PhD student, ETH AI center
Pascal Sager is a PhD candidate, conducting research at the Centre for Artificial Intelligence at ZHAW and the Institute of Neuroinformatics at UZH and ETH Zurich. With degrees in Computer Science and Data Science, he combines academic research with prior industry experience in software and hardware engineering.
Loris Roveda
Senior Researcher, SUPSI
Loris Roveda is a Senior Researcher at IDSIA USI-SUPSI and an Associate Professor at Politecnico di Milano, working in the field of robotics and AI. He got his PhD in Mechanical Engineering in 2015 at Politecnico di Milano. His research interests are related to humanoid robotics, ML for robot modeling and control, human-robot interaction, and exoskeleton design and control.
Mattis Koh
COO / Co-founder, MESH AG
Mattis Koh is cofounder of MESH AG, a Swiss company bringing robotics to the rebar industry. With a background in mechanical Engineering from TU Delft and ETH Zürich, Mattis focuses on deploying scalable robotic solutions that bridge traditional manufacturing with cutting-edge technology.
Nikhil Ramaswamy
Co-Founder, CynLR
Nikhil is a Co-Founder at CynLr and looks after global go-to-market, sales and investments. Before co-founding CynLr with Gokul N A, Nikhil and Gokul were colleagues at National Instruments, a premier test, measurement, and control automation provider.
