ECAL (École cantonale d’art de Lausanne) and Swissnex in San Francisco are launching the Media & Interaction Design Residency Award, offering a graduating student from ECAL the opportunity for a residency in San Francisco. The residency allows the student to take their (diploma) project in the fields of interaction design and digital innovation to the next level with a four week stay in San Francisco.
The students awarded with this residency have proven that their project has a strong entrepreneurial and innovative potential. Swissnex in San Francisco will equip the students with the relevant mindset, skill sets, and networks during their residency to allow them to develop their project.
The project by ECAL student Maya Bellier is the first project chosen for the Media & Interaction Design Residency Award and she will travel to San Francisco in June 2022 to work on her project around identity and how it is expressed digitally.
