We are thrilled to welcome Emilia Pasquier as CEO of Swissnex in San Francisco. Emilia joins the global Swissnex network after four years as political advisor to the Minister of Home Affairs and to the former Swiss President Alain Berset (2018). She worked on foreign affairs, economic policies and culture. Prior to this position, she was the managing director of “foraus – the Swiss Think Tank for foreign policy” for four years.

Thanks to the entrepreneurial spirit of the team, she developed this political start-up into a renowned actor of the Swiss political landscape at the forefront of policy innovation. She also worked in the private sector – mainly managing two business networks – acting as Deputy Secretary General at the International Chamber of Commerce Switzerland and Focal Point for the UN Global Compact Switzerland. Emilia holds a Master in Political and Economic Philosophy from the University of Bern and was a visiting student at the University College Dublin and New York University.
