Inviting multi-disciplinary guests to explore the future of work.
Now more than ever, the future of work is in question and we are left wondering how will it look not only tomorrow, but also in 10 years and beyond. Vitra and swissnex SF are partnering to explore this question and rethink our own workplace environments with a monthly digital conversation on this topic. Hosted by Vitra’s Future of Work Trendscout Raphael Gielgen, the events will feature a cast of multi-disciplinary guests. These immersive and interactive discussions will offer ideas and alternative thinking on concepts that Raphael has built his career pioneering.
For the fourth and last event of our series, Raphael will be joined by Matthew Buecher, Senior Director of Global Real Estate at Salesforce.

Gioia Deucher
Gioia has dedicated the last decade to fostering cross-continental collaborations with a view to inspire and strengthen Switzerland’s innovation ecosystem. Before setting out to build the first Latin American swissnex office Brazil in 2013, she headed the Startup and Innovation team at swissnex in San Francisco, where she returned to as CEO, in July of 2017.

Trendscout Future at Work, VitraRaphael has spent most of his professional life working on making the office environment a better place. He visits over one hundred companies per year and his work informs Vitra´s approach to improving the quality of offices and public spaces through the power of design by serving the varied Vitra team with the results of his observations and cognitions by trend clusters, market analysis and business cases.

Senior Director of Global Real Estate, SalesforceMatthew leads the workplace design team responsible for the company’s more than 120 office locations for over 54,000 employees. He joined Salesforce in 2018 and brings more than 20 years of experience with a background spanning product and furniture design, store development, manufacturing, marketing, supply chain management, and operations.
