Entrepreneurial Journey As Students: A Global Conversation

A conversation and networking event on exploring the entrepreneurial culture as students between a Swiss University (HEIG-VD) and US University (Menlo College). The students will have the opportunity to learn from each other, inspire, and be empowered. This event is part of a collaboration with HEIG-VD aiming to provide an immersive experience into the Silicon Valley entrepreneurship mindset.

A Global Collaboration

A mixer event bringing together Swiss and American students to exchange on entrepreneurship aiming to empower the next generation of innovators.

A mixer and networking event to explore the entrepreneurial journey for Swiss and American students.

The event is part of a collaboration between HEIG-VD and Swissnex in San Francisco on entrepreneurship. It is an opportunity for the students to explore innovation and entrepreneurship with peers from Menlo College

The purpose is to create a space for intercultural exchanges, inspiration, and empowerment.
The event’s scope is set on the student’s voices and experiences. Through different activities (like a panel discussion, roundtables, and dedicated networking), the students will learn from each other and professors in entrepreneurship from both Universities.

The mindset behind this event is curiosity and empowerment of the next generation of innovators.

The Program

This collaboration with the School of Engineering and Management (HEIG-VD) aims to offer Swiss students an immersive experience in the entrepreneurial mindset of Silicon Valley.

This program is part of the HEIG-VD International Innovation Management (IIM), a course for exploring practices and methodologies behind the vibrant world of startups. The students are supporting selected Swiss startups in their innovative journey and are learning from Swiss and US ecosystems.

They have the opportunity to travel into the Bay Area and explore the innovation ecosystem during two weeks. Swissnex in San Francisco provides them with content and learning from Silicon Valley through the organization of workshops before their travel and hosts them while organizing a networking event during their coming.
