Swissnex in Boston and New York is releasing the new factsheet Switzerland: A Hub for Quantum in the context of its global initiative Project Quantum. The document highlights Switzerland’s broad excellence in quantum science and technology, which is driven by its world-class research institutions, its pioneering startups, and its international engagement.
Diving deeper into the ecosystem, it also offers a visual mapping of key quantum players and clusters in Switzerland, along with descriptions and links for around 30 organizations and initiatives with a quantum focus, including the recently established Swiss Quantum Initiative.
The factsheet was first presented at the Swissnex Quantum Summit on October 14, 2023. Held at the EPFL campus, the summit convened quantum ecosystem builders from 10 countries to discuss how to accelerate breakthroughs and jointly shape the emergence of this new industry. Given the constant developments in the quantum sector, Switzerland: A Hub for Quantum will be regularly updated to reflect major changes in the Swiss Quantum Ecosystem.
