The biotech hubs of Boston and Basel share common strengths and also common challenges, including a shared drive for sustainability. How can the premier industry in both Boston and Basel contribute to their cities’ climate and environmental goals? What frontier technologies – such as bioengineered sustainable materials – can biotech hubs spin off to serve the planet? And how can sustainable urban infrastructure support biotech labs and manufacturing? Join this event, featuring the President of the Executive Council of Basel-City, to discuss the nexus of biopharma, bioengineering, and sustainability in Boston and Basel.
This event is co-hosted by Genentech, a member of the Roche Group, at the Harvard Enterprise Research Campus, future home of the Roche Genentech Innovation Center.
