A few weeks after making history in launching the first-ever NFT auction of a luxury timepiece, WiSeKey Founder and CEO Carlos Moreira joins two pioneers in the crypto world—Ari Meilich and Agustin Ferreira—to discuss this technology.

Just last month, luxury watch brand Hublot and Swiss company WiSeKey made history in launching the first-ever non-fungible token (NFT) auction of a luxury timepiece, bringing luxury watchmaking into the world of NFTs.

In this event, Carlos Moreira, alongside Ari Meilich, CEO of Big Time Studios, and Agustin Ferreira, Director of the Decentraland Foundation, the first-ever virtual world owned by its users, will discuss the implications and future prospects of NFTs.

    Carlos Creus Moreira

    Carlos is involved in many not-for-profit and philanthropic activities. He has received several international awards for his commitment to secure the Internet and was selected by Bilanz among the 100 most important 2016 digital heads in Switzerland. Carlos is a Member of the New York Forum and a Digital Shaper of DigitalSwitzerland.
    He was Adjunct Professor of the Graduate School of Engineering RMIT Australia (95/99) and Head of the Trade Efficiency Lab at the Graduate School of Engineering at RMIT.
    He is very active in disruptive DeepTech crypto technologies, AI, Blockchain/ Crypto Currencies, IoT and Cybersecurity. His company, WISeKey, was listed on the Swiss Stock Exchange in 2016.

    CEO, Big Time Studios. Co-Founder Decentraland

    Ari Meilich is CEO at Big Time Studios. He was co-founder and former Project Lead at Decentraland, the first decentralized VR platform. He has worked as an Analyst at Charles River Ventures, a leading Silicon Valley venture fund, and as the founder and CEO of Benchrise, a big-data company.

    Agustin Ferreira

    Director, Decentraland Foundation

    Agustin Ferreira is the Director of the Decentraland Foundation. Prior to that, he was co-Founder and CTO of Xivis. Agustin also was a Council Chairman for the South American Business Forum and attended the Technology Institute of Buenos Aires.
