As multilateral diplomacy becomes increasingly complex and fast-paced, missions are looking for new ways to keep up with reporting, coordination, and information management. At the same time, artificial intelligence and digital tools are beginning to reshape how diplomacy is practiced, opening new opportunities to support daily workflows and decision-making. Yet many of these innovations remain out of reach or poorly adapted to the realities of UN diplomacy.
This event, co-hosted by Swissnex, DiploTools, and the Permanent Mission of Denmark to the UN in New York, will explore the concrete challenges missions face in today’s fast-evolving digital environment, from managing information flows to adapting decision-making to new technological realities. Diplomats, experts, and technologists will discuss how AI is beginning to integrate into diplomatic work and where its true potential lies.
The session will take participants on a journey through what is already possible today and what’s emerging, showcasing technologies built to support and enhance diplomatic practice, and offering a glimpse into the next wave of innovation.
Attendance by invitation only.
