I went from specialized in French rap in March 2020 to rediscovering Korean TV a year and a half later to suddenly having the opportunity to take a complete U-turn in my career path. It is possible, apparently, and the opportunities that I found here have been plentiful and unexpected. Is it mad that I'm doing a postdoc in a country that I hadn't study for a very long time and never visited prior to 2022? Yes. But now that I'm here, everything fits into place. Academically it's been brilliant and rewarding and the overall experience has been fantastic.
