Working in venture capital for over seven years has given Daniela a clear perspective on two core priorities: first, identifying the most promising startups to generate strong fund returns; and second, delivering strategic value to investors and LPs by ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and leveraging technology and innovation to drive growth. She understands that deep market insight is essential for achieving top-line revenue growth, especially during times of disruption.
Daniela is passionate about staying at the forefront of technology by advising LPs and Global Fortune 500/2000 corporations on integrating and investing in transformative solutions, while also supporting startups as they scale. As a network builder, she connects individuals and organizations to foster knowledge sharing and advance strategic business initiatives.
Daniela brings more than 17 years of experience in international business strategy and development, operations, strategic partnerships, and scaling startups from stealth mode to hypergrowth. She has launched products in over 27 countries and has worked on the regulation of digital products in collaboration with governments, lobbying groups, and both private and state-owned enterprises across Europe. Her Silicon Valley experience includes joining the cybersecurity startup Area 1 Security at an early stage, where she helped drive expansion and growth strategy; the company was acquired by Cloudflare in 2022.
During her time at leading early-stage European VC Speedinvest, Daniela helped launch a new platform strategy and advised European companies on entering the U.S. market. Driven by a strong commitment to supporting founders, she also serves as a mentor at Intel, German Accelerator, and GACC West, where she helps emerging and established tech startups with U.S. market entry, fundraising, go-to-market strategy, and enterprise sales.
The pitch night is part of the Startup Camp (Next-Gen Health), powered by Innosuisse and managed by Swissnex.
