Organized by Swissnex in Japan, the event attracted participants from Osaka, Kobe, Kyoto, Tokyo, and even Okinawa, showcasing a strong Swiss presence across Japan. Key members of the Swiss Alumni community and organizations like the Swiss Society of the Kansai and SCCIJ joined in the festivities.
This year, we highlighted the remarkable activities of Swiss Alumni in the Kansai region, thanks to the contributions of individuals like Yuta Daigi, Charmaine M.S. Ng, Sachiko Hirosue, and Alexis Steinman. Their impressive pitches shed light on the diverse range of activities and opportunities available to Swiss Alumni.
With 1000+ Alumni from Swiss Public Universities in Japan, the Swiss Alumni Sakura event in 2026 saw over 100 registered Alumni from 22 renowned Swiss Universities and Schools, making the journey to Osaka from all corners of Japan.
