How does architecture respond to a changing world?
Swissnex in Japan is pleased to present the travelling exhibition SAY Swiss Architecture Yearbook 2025/26 in Osaka. Developed by the S AM Swiss Architecture Museum in collaboration with werk, bauen + wohnen and Presence Switzerland, the exhibition offers a snapshot of contemporary Swiss architecture and building culture. The exhibition features 34 selected projects from the second edition of the Swiss Architecture Yearbook. Together, they reflect how architects are responding to challenges including limited land and resources, the transformation and reuse of existing buildings, and evolving environmental and social needs.
What's new
For the first time, SAY also looks beyond buildings, presenting four specially selected projects that highlight civic engagement, innovative processes and new forms of collaboration. These projects invite us to consider architecture not only as a finished object, but also as a process shaped by people, places and changing needs.
Through this exhibition, Swissnex in Japan invites visitors to discover the diversity of contemporary Swiss building culture and explore how architecture can contribute to shaping the built environment of tomorrow.
