Developed in response to Swissnex Window #15: Perhaps Silence, the workshop invites participants to uncover how humans, other species, and natural processes shape the places we share. Through photography, drawing, sound, video or other media, participants will transform their observations into creative works for a collective printed magazine.
This creative workshop with Swiss-Dutch design duo andrews & degen explores Kyoto’s Jōdoji neighbourhood through walking, listening, and urban fieldwork. andrews & degen will guide participants from initial observations to concepts and finished works, drawing on their international participatory design and publishing project, Mapping the City.
