The Swiss-US Energy Innovation Days returns for a 9th edition bringing together people and ideas from both sides of the Atlantic to tackle urgent challenges in the field of energy. Taking place in Bern, Switzerland, from August 14-16, this year’s conference focuses on accelerating the energy transition. It explores technologies that can act as bridges to – or even central elements of – the new energy world, while venturing into the roles of regulation, policy, the economy, and society.
A platform for discovery and new collaborations, SUEID includes a dynamic mix of presentations, lightning talks, and site visits exploring scientific advances, innovation strategies, market developments, and public policies from Switzerland and the US. The community of participants, which evolves continuously since the conference’s first edition in 2014, includes Swiss and American researchers, startup entrepreneurs, industry experts, and policymakers.
After two virtual editions of SUEID, Swissnex is delighted that this vibrant community will get to meet again in person in Bern, the capital of Switzerland, with its uniquely preserved old city, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
