The gathering will take place at the Consulate Swissnex Residence, where the Swiss Consul & CEO of Swissnex in Japan will be joined by key members of the Alumni network.

Following the tradition of hosting gatherings for Alumni of Swiss Universities, as our colleagues at Swissnexes in the US (Boston and San Francisco), China (Shanghai), India (Bangalore) and Brazil (Rio de Janeiro) do, we arranged our first large Swiss Alumni Sakura event in April 2022.

Japan counts over 1000 Alumni from Swiss Universities, many of whom, despite their eagerness to participate, were unable to come to the Alumni event last year due to the restrictive COVID conditions. Hence, we are anticipating many more participants for this spring gathering, as it is a long-lost chance to reunite with each other. This is an excellent opportunity for alumni getting to bond with their chapters, exchange ideas, build connections, and share the latest news. We hope that this will foster a lasting and growing network for the community that we all cherish.
