Join us on September 10 for a pitch night featuring the next generation of startups from Switzerland: 44ai, Adiposs, DeepPsy, Dexterous Endoscopes, DigeHealth, heyPatient, Lighthouse Tech, Nextesy, Rapidata, and TALPA.

The startups pitching are participating in the Startup Camp (all industries), powered by Innosuisse and managed by Swissnex, a two-week camp featuring toolbox sessions, fireside chats, networking events, and valuable introductions.

44ai is a Swiss HealthTech startup that builds AI-powered tools for turning unstructured clinical information into structured data across the healthcare sector, helping clinicians save time on reporting while meeting the highest regulatory standards (ISO 13485, MDR Class I).

Adiposs SA

Adiposs SA is a clinical-stage, top 100 Swiss life science start-up developing transformative imaging products for cancer and metabolic disease patients. The company’s flagship product is a first-in-class CT contrast agent for brown fat which predicts response to therapy and survival. It enables personalised therapy with improved patient outcomes globally.

DeepPsy

DeepPsy helps psychiatrists identify the best medical treatment for patients with depression. Before treatment begins, we analyze brain data from EEG and ECG and generate a medical report to support clinical decision making. Our focus is on treatment decisions that are currently driven by trial and error, improving outcomes by 24% while reducing treatment costs.

Dexterous Endoscopes

Dexterous Endoscopes is a medtech startup making it easier to reach and treat hard to access areas during endoscopy, one of the most performed surgeries in the world. The device's shaft can become soft on command for great navigation, then rigid for stability and effective tissue dissection, in a patented and preclinically validated solution.

DigeHealth

DigeHealth is a Swiss wearable startup building the first objective, non-invasive, and continuous layer of gut understanding. Its mission is to empower people to take control and optimise their gut health.

heyPatient AG

heyPatient is building the Patient Experience Layer for healthcare: one configurable, EHR-agnostic platform that turns fragmented patient interactions into one seamless, automated yet personalized journey across existing systems. In production at leading Swiss hospitals, including the first European Siemens Smart Hospital deployment and University Children's Hospital Zurich, heyPatient is now entering the US market.

Lighthouse Tech

Lighthouse Tech SA is a Swiss startup founded in 2020 with a mission is to deliver
stylish, effective assistive technology that restores independence and safety to people
who are blind or visually impaired without compromising on fashion and dignity.

Nextesy

Nextesy is a Zurich-based AI startup developing an AI-native business administration system that automates repetitive manual processes in the back office and provides 360-degree company data view in one place.

Rapidata

Rapidata connects to more than 1 billion phone screens worldwide, gathering the most comprehensive set of real human judgments to train and power frontier AI models — because building a truly human AI takes input from all of humanity.

TALPA

TALPA makes corrosion inside reinforced concrete measurable at scale. Our contactless sensor mounts on standard drones and captures corrosion and visual defects in the same flight, building a digital twin that carries every inspection cycle as a living record of the structure.

Çağla Kaymaz
Partner at Category Ventures
Çağla is a partner at Category Ventures, a pre-seed and seed firm based in San Francisco. She focuses on software infra, robotics, devtools, and enterprise apps. Before Category, she was at Citi Ventures where she backed AI infra and apps companies such as Glean and Datavolo (Acq. by Snowflake).

Prior to investing, Çağla was an engineering and product leader at Microsoft. She holds a BS in Math and Computational Science and an MS in Computer Science from Stanford University, as well as an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Bio

Augustin Sayer
General Partner and Co-Founder at OVNI Captial
Augustin Sayer is Co-Founder and General Partner at OVNI Capital, a transatlantic seed-stage deeptech fund with offices in Paris and San Francisco. OVNI backs European founders building for the US from day one, writing checks of €250k–€2M in AI, robotics, quantum, cybersecurity, energy, and healthtech.

Previously a Partner at Newfund, Augustin combines operator experience with a finance background. He is the author of From Zero to Deep and is based in San Francisco, where he helps European deeptech teams navigate the Bay Area market.

Ariana Shaffer
Senior Corporate Counsel at Mignano Law
Ariana Shaffer is a corporate attorney who advises startups and founders throughout the full company lifecycle. She began her career at Cooley LLP, where she focused on startup formation, venture financings, corporate governance, and general corporate matters. She then joined an AI legal technology startup that was later acquired by AngelList before moving to Sunrun, a large publicly traded company.

Ariana now serves as fractional counsel and advisor to emerging companies and as Senior Corporate Counsel at Mignano Law Group. In her spare time, she enjoys investing in real estate and exploring how AI tools can be applied across both her legal practice and real estate.
