Bio
Çağla is a partner at Category Ventures, a pre-seed and seed firm based in San Francisco. She focuses on software infra, robotics, devtools, and enterprise apps. Before Category, she was at Citi Ventures where she backed AI infra and apps companies such as Glean and Datavolo (Acq. by Snowflake).
Prior to investing, Çağla was an engineering and product leader at Microsoft. She holds a BS in Math and Computational Science and an MS in Computer Science from Stanford University, as well as an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Augustin Sayer is Co-Founder and General Partner at OVNI Capital, a transatlantic seed-stage deeptech fund with offices in Paris and San Francisco. OVNI backs European founders building for the US from day one, writing checks of €250k–€2M in AI, robotics, quantum, cybersecurity, energy, and healthtech.
Previously a Partner at Newfund, Augustin combines operator experience with a finance background. He is the author of From Zero to Deep and is based in San Francisco, where he helps European deeptech teams navigate the Bay Area market.
Bio
Ariana Shaffer is a corporate attorney who advises startups and founders throughout the full company lifecycle. She began her career at Cooley LLP, where she focused on startup formation, venture financings, corporate governance, and general corporate matters. She then joined an AI legal technology startup that was later acquired by AngelList before moving to Sunrun, a large publicly traded company.
Ariana now serves as fractional counsel and advisor to emerging companies and as Senior Corporate Counsel at Mignano Law Group. In her spare time, she enjoys investing in real estate and exploring how AI tools can be applied across both her legal practice and real estate.
