Bio
Jae Yeop Kim
Assistant Professor, Department of Industrial Design at Hongik University, Director of Meta Media Design Center, Director of Intelligent Interaction Design LabProf. Jae Kim is interested in social, cultural, and ethical consequences of emerging technologies. His research focuses on Human Centered Interaction and Intelligent (AI) products and services which includes voice and natural interface. He led various UX design projects such as Microsoft AI Assistant, AI Speaker, AI powered IoT devices and Smart TV at Microsoft Ai, Nokia and Samsung. He majored in communication design at Parsons School of Design in New York and received a master degree in design interactions from Royal College of Arts in London. He also participated in global exhibitions and conferences including Microsoft Ai & Data science Conference, MoMA, London Design Festival, and Helsinki Design Week.

Serena Cangiano
Head of FabLab SUPSISerena Cangiano works at SUPSI – University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (Lugano) as researcher and Head of FabLab SUPSI, the laboratory dedicated to digital fabrication and open innovation, and coordinator of MAS in Interaction Design, an international curriculum focusing on design and prototyping of digital experiences. She is founder of the Ethafa project, a kit to teach programming and electronics through stories. Driven by creativity and entrepreneurship, she instigates and delivers projects at the intersection between design, technology and making. During the last ten years, she has been designing, teaching and coordinating workshops and projects in collaboration with an international network of interaction designers, creative coders and (change)makers. From digital social innovation to tech education, she carried out applied projects involving the development of interactive products, platforms and innovative processes through open design methods.
