Christiane Caetano is a museologist with post-graduate studies in marketing and business communication. She focused her professional career in the communication area and entered 24 years ago, in the National Department of Sesc as an advisor in the area of leadership, where she was responsible for the implementation of the Ecos Program, a sustainability project that was later expanded to the CNC, Senac, and Fecomércio. She was the communication supervisor of the regional administration of Sesc in Rio de Janeiro and 19 years after accompanying the implementation of the social-environmental action pole of the National Department of Sesc in the Pantanal, she became the project manager.

Graduated in Biological Sciences at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Master in Ecology from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul and PhD in Biogeography from the Universität des Saarlandes, Germany. He is currently an Associate Professor at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, National Museum. He has experience in the areas of Ecology, Biogeography, with emphasis on mastozoology.

PhD in Ecology, post-doctorate in Wetland Ecology at the Max-Planck Institute for Limnology, Tropical Ecology Group – Germany. She was a professor at the Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT). Today she is an associate researcher at UFMT, researcher at the National Institute of Science and Technology in Wetlands (INCT-INAU/CNPq), researcher at the Pantanal Research Center (CPP) responsible for the scientific bases for supporting the conservation and sustainable handling of the Pantanal, and the scientific project coordinator of the Blue Corridor Program (Mupan/Wetland International). She is part of the working group that developed scientific bases for the identification and characterization of Brazilian wetlands, and the classification of macro habitats in the Pantanal for management purposes. Her area of expertise is the ecology of wetland vegetation. She has been involved in efforts for conservation, sustainable management and the political-scientific visibility of wetlands, especially in the Pantanal.

Dr Evelyn Wolfram is the Head of Phytopharmacy and Natural Products Group and lecturer in Natural Products Chemistry and Phytopharmacy at the Department of Life Sciences at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences.
She has a degree in Environmental Engineering from the Technical University of Berlin, a Master of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Massachusetts and obtained her PhD in Biotechnology from the Technical University of Munich. Currently she cooperates in Latin America with universities in Argentina, Brazil and Chile and has as her main areas of interest are, Quality Control and Pharmacopeial methods in Phytopharmacy, Cosmetics and Health Food, Extraction Process Development and Optimization, Method Development via Quality by Design, Quality Assurance and Standardization in Phytotherapy and Biotechnology of Medicinal Plants.
