Owls for Peace: Ecology and Reconciliation
In cooperation with the Israeli, Jordanian and Moroccon pavilions and as part of the biodiversity and climate week, this panel presents the work of the Owl for Peace project, promoting the barn owl as a biological pest control agent to help farmers produce higher-quality products. This stimulates farmers and scientists from conflict zones to meet in order to share their experience with this bird. A panel will follow, sharing best practices on how humans and animals can co-exist in a peaceful way, removing physical and emotional borders.
