Art x Science Dialogues: Sonic Arts x Neuroscience

We have invited Luca Forcucci, a distinguished independent composer, artist and scholar and Jo Wei, curator, researcher and founder of Pan Bio-art Studio, for a collaborative discussion on Sonic Arts x Neuroscience.

The second Art x Science Dialogues will focus on Sonic Arts x Neuroscience. Sonic Arts have become the hot topic in recent times. Artists explore sound in its pure state, simultaneously bridging and muddling barriers between sound, noise, and music in the contemporary or historical sense. Others investigate the political and cultural implications of certain sounds, using their work to bring human rights to the fore. This event puts spotlight on yet another group of artists who connects Sonic Arts with Neuroscience, attempting to unveil the mystery of human brain and consciousness by playing with the frequency and wavelength of a soundwave. Therefore, we have invited Luca Forcucci, a distinguished independent composer, artist and scholar and Jo Wei, curator, researcher and founder of Pan Bio-art Studio, for a collaborative discussion.
