Morning: Academic Visits to University Labs & Training Centers

Visit of a university and labs that work on cutting-edge research on robotics, AI, technology adoption and provide excellent training for next-generation engineers. The visit will address some key questions:

  • How can manufacturing industries harness AI to maximize efficiency and drive meaningful impact?
  • How to make sure AI adoption is responsible and ethical?
  • What is China doing in terms of technologies for SDG?
  • How does China envision the competences of next generation engineers?

Lunch

Curated lunch discussions with Chinese stakeholders and experts in AI governance, sustainable technologies, and digital transformation in manufacturing.

Afternoon: Industrial Visit to Chinese Robotic Innovators

Visit of two companies specializing in automation and robotics: one with a specific focus and the other with a broader approach. This offers participants a well-rounded perspective on the current advancements in the Chinese robotics market.

  • A niche startup with an innovative, conceptual approach, focused on market education and technology development
