Morning: Industrial Visit to Huawei

Visit to Huawei, one of China’s leading technology companies with a strong presence in advanced manufacturing and industrial digitalization. The visit is designed to offer participants a broader perspective on current developments, innovation approaches, and market dynamics within China’s industrial technology landscape.

 

Afternoon: Visit to University Labs & Innovation Institute

Visit to Shanghai University of Engineering Science (SUES), including an exchange with leading researchers from relevant labs, followed by a visit to the Design Innovation Institute Shanghai (DIIS) with a guided tour, startup introduction, and expert keynote. The program offers insights into cutting-edge developments in manufacturing, robotics, AI, and technology adoption, and explores what Swiss manufacturing companies can learn from China’s innovation ecosystem.

 

Networking Dinner

An interactive exchange with experts over dinner, reflecting on insights from the visits and discussing future developments in advanced manufacturing.
