The Embassy of Switzerland in Brazil, in cooperation with the Swiss Business Hub Brazil and Swissnex in Brazil, will host the Infrastructure Forum Brazil-Switzerland 2024 – on the road to net zero on the 23 and 24 October in São Paulo, Brazil.

The pipeline of infrastructure projects continues to be large as Brazil continues to implement the privatization agenda and embark on an energy transition agenda. This offers many opportunities for companies and startups from Switzerland and Liechtenstein, catering to the sectors of sanitation, energy, transport, ports, and airports, as well as financial institutions.

The Forum will unite decision-makers in the infrastructure sector: Government authorities, Brazilian operators and concessionaries, companies, and startups from Switzerland and Liechtenstein, the financial community, investors, associations, regulators, and carbon credit compensation agencies. In light of COP30 and the priorities of G20 Brasil 2024 IWG, decarbonization, climate-resilient infrastructure, financing and mitigation of FX risk, and linking infrastructure to poverty reduction are transversal topics.
