Call for projects for Swissnex @ the Swiss Pavilion, Expo 2025 Osaka

SWISSNEX AT THE SWISS PAVILION

From April to October 2025, the world will convene at the Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan, to explore its theme “Designing Future Society for Our Lives.”

Presence Switzerland and Swissnex have formed a strategic partnership to showcase Swiss innovation at the Pavilion. The goal is to enhance Switzerland’s positive visibility and credibility of the Education, Research, and Innovation (ERI) sector and connect Swiss ERI stakeholders with global experts and peers. The Pavilion will leverage Japan’s pivotal role in ERI, offering Swiss project partners a platform to establish regional connections and gain lasting visibility beyond Expo 2025.

To this end, Swissnex and Presence Switzerland are calling for submissions of activities that can be presented within the Swiss Pavilion’s Event Programm.

SUBMIT A PROJECT FOR THE ERI EVENT PROGRAM

Swissnex aims to collaborate with Swiss ERI stakeholders to develop a dynamic program of events and activities throughout Expo 2025. The program will thematically align with the eight official Osaka Expo 2025 theme weeks (listed as "Sub Themes" in the application form) and can include any fitting format. Whether you envision workshops, thematic conferences, networking events, demos, lectures, pitching sessions, or something else, Swissnex welcomes your ideas! Activities can be public or private, specialized or more general, small or large-scale. They can be held in the Swiss Pavilion’s event space, partner locations like the Swissnex in Japan event & exhibition space in downtown Osaka, or even the Swiss Embassy in Tokyo.
