Swissnex Alumni Night 2026 – From Entanglement to Connection

Swissnex in San Francisco invites the Swiss Alumni Community in the Bay Area for an Alumni Night at Pier 17.

Join Us

Explore the interconnectedness between Swiss and US innovation ecosystems.

How do ideas, technologies, and innovation spread across borders? Inspired by the REFRESH Exhibition: Algorithmic Entanglements currently on display at Swissnex, and the quantum physics concept at its heart, this year’s Swissnex Alumni Night explores the deep interconnections between Swiss and global innovation ecosystems.

Quantum physics tells us that entangled particles remain connected regardless of distance, their identities emerging not from themselves alone but from their relationship. What does that mean beyond the subatomic — for how we collaborate, create, and innovate across borders? Through cross-disciplinary talks and discussions, experts from quantum science, design thinking, architecture, and the arts will share how entanglement shows up in their own practice and experience — and what it means to build genuine connection within systems we cannot fully see, but are already inside.

Join us for an evening of exploration, exchange, and inspiration — where ideas, disciplines, and people become entangled, and something larger than any one of us begins to emerge.
