As we broaden our own definitions, we begin to see intelligence not as a singular (human) trait, but as something that exists everywhere—within and between all forms of life. From humans and animals to plants, fungi, and even AI, intelligence manifests in diverse ways, shaping the world around us.
On 3 June 2025, in Lucerne, Swissnex’s signature annual event will bring together Swissnex representatives from around the world alongside leading voices from multiple disciplines. Together, we will expand our understanding of intelligence and explore our relationships with the nonhuman. As we rethink what intelligence is, we realize that it surrounds us — we exist, experience, and evolve in constant interaction with our planetary surroundings.
Swissnex Day 2025 is part of Swissnex for the Planet, an initiative to explore planetary diplomacy across the global Swissnex network.
