Exhibition Overview
The SAY Swiss Architecture Yearbook exhibition, held in the Swissnex Window exhibition space in Osaka, invited visitors to explore a carefully curated selection of groundbreaking Swiss architectural projects. The exhibition’s scenography created an immersive experience, reflecting the diversity and ingenuity of Swiss design. Visitors had the opportunity to engage with key conversations surrounding sustainability and innovative architectural practices, fostering an appreciation for Swiss architects’ contributions to the global architectural landscape.

Opening Reception & Highlights
The opening of the exhibition was attended by a diverse group of architecture professionals, design enthusiasts, and sustainability advocates. Dr. Felix Moesner, Director of Swissnex in Japan, and Fiammetta Pennisi, Exhibition Curator, emphasized the exhibition’s role in strengthening ties between Swiss and Japanese architects while advancing the discourse on sustainable urban development. Curator Yuma Shinohara offered valuable insights into the yearbook's vision and the contemporary trends influencing Swiss architecture.

Design with Wood: Swiss Innovation Meets Sustainability in Japan
November 28, 2024Swissnex in Japan successfully launched its new Swissnex Window series with the exhibition "Design with Wood" from October 25 to November 22, 2024, at the Consulate of Switzerland in Osaka. This inaugural showcase highlighted the innovative work of five emerging Swiss designers—Fabien Roy, Amandine Gini, Victor Moynier, Ramona Hess, and Salomon Elsler—who transform discarded or overlooked wood into striking examples of sustainable design.
