Facing Midosuji, the Champs Elysees of Osaka, the Swissnex Window offers a glimpse into Swiss ingenuity and excellence.
From chasing comets to probing distant exoplanets, the exhibition highlighted four pioneering space missions: BepiColombo, JUICE, Comet Interceptor, and CHEOPS. Visitors to the Consulate of Switzerland in Osaka were invited to step into the cosmos with Swiss Horizons Beyond Earth and experience how Switzerland is contributing to advancing space exploration.
This bilingual exhibition (English & Japanese) guided audiences through these groundbreaking missions, offering interactive displays and captivating stories, from experiencing the scent of a comet to observing mission details on screens. Through the collaboration of the University of Bern, European Space Agency (ESA), JAXA (Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency), ARIS, PlanetS, and Swiss institutions, the exhibition emphasized Swiss and Japanese leadership in space exploration and showcased the technology, science, and imagination driving humanity’s quest to understand the universe.
