Beyond Gravity: A Poetic Dialogue Across Disciplines

Swissnex in Japan is excited to unveil Beyond Gravity, a striking new installation by Swiss artist Andrea Giuseppe Corciulo. The artwork was officially unveiled during the opening event on July 30th as part of the Swissnex Window series, creating a poetic dialogue between art, science, and nature.

Introduced by Fiammetta Pennisi, Head of Art-Science, and Dr. Felix Moesner, Consul and CEO at Swissnex Japan, the Swiss artist Andrea Giuseppe Corciulo presented his work at the Swissnex venue. During the opening event, Corciulo shared insights into his creative process and the inspirations behind Beyond Gravity. He explained how the installation came to life through a fusion of scientific concepts and personal intuition.

Beyond Gravity invites the public to pause and reflect on the unseen elements that shape our daily experience. By blending disciplines such as botany, gravity, and geology with artistic intuition, Corciulo’s work encourages a fresh perspective, challenging us to look beyond what meets the eye.

This was followed by a dynamic Q&A session, where the audience engaged with the artist, asking questions that sparked lively discussion about the relationship between art, science, and the environment.
