nexCafé | Material Meetup KYOTO

Material Meetup, an event to gather craftsmen and creators involved in manufacturing with the theme of “material”. Featuring NaturLoop and PEEL Lab.

Thinking local for ethical spaces, buildings and materials.

In this third edition of our nexCafé art-science talk series, the Consulate of Switzerland, Swissnex in Japan presents together with FabCafe Global the Material Meetup, an event to gather craftsmen and creators involved in manufacturing with the theme of “material”. We invite NaturLoop, a Swiss-based materials science startup, and PEEL Lab, a B2B green tech for plant-based leather products. Followed by an exclusive presentation about ethical materials and spatial design, we also invite designers to discuss the usage of sustainable materials in architecture. Welcome & introduction by Dr. Felix Moesner, Swiss Consul & Swissnex CEO and Fiammetta Pennisi, Art-Science Manager.
