Head of R&D and Strategic Partnerships, BoroboticsBorobotics is developing a new generation of geothermal drill for use in urban areas. Our robots can drill cheaply in confined spaces (<8m2), with low noise & CO2 emissions. The aim is to make geothermal energy more accessible and cost-effective and thus bring it to the mass market. As a spin-off of the ZHAW, we are located in the Technopark Winterthur and employ 16 people. Currently, we are in the development phase and are carrying out drilling tests with our 2nd prototype.
