We help Swiss partners navigate and engage with one of the world’s most dynamic innovation landscapes. From mapping key players and emerging trends to fostering meaningful collaborations across research and industry, we help our partners build the right connections. We design immersive experiences that allow partners to engage with the ecosystem on the ground, build lasting relationships and explore concrete opportunities for collaboration between Switzerland and India.
We help Swiss organisations and companies map key players in the Indian innovation ecosystems to help them clearly see who is working in the space and where interesting things are happening. We also point out new technologies and possible collaborations, so partners know where and how to get involved.
We connect Swiss organisations and companies with the right people in research, industry and the startup ecosystem based on their goals and interests. By making targeted introductions and facilitating early conversations, we help turn potential connections into meaningful collaborations.
We design immersive delegation programmes that give Swiss partners first-hand exposure to India’s innovation ecosystem. Through site visits, tailored meetings, and on-the-ground support, we help partners understand the local context and build meaningful connections. We also support delegations from India on an ad-hoc basis.
We offer residencies at Swissnex that give professionals a base in India to connect with the local ecosystem. Residents gain space, community and access to networks to exchange ideas and build international connections.
We supported Swiss medtech company Ophthorobotics as it explored India as a potential market and fundraising destination. We set up conversations with medical and industry experts to help the company understand local needs, adoption pathways and the broader healthcare landscape. We also connected Ophthorobotics with regulatory specialists and facilitated introductions to healthcare-focused investors. Alongside remote preparation and on-the-ground support during the company’s visit, this helped Ophthorobotics gain practical insight into the Indian market and build early relationships with key stakeholders in its growth journey.
We partnered with Swiss insurer La Mobilière to strengthen its innovation capacity by supporting the international development of its employees. Through tailored immersion programmes at Swissnex in India, La Mobilière staff worked on clearly defined innovation challenges while gaining first-hand exposure to global startup, research and technology ecosystems. We provided coaching, introductions to relevant companies and experts, workshops and mentoring, helping participants explore new ideas, validate concepts and build international connections. By combining hands-on learning with ecosystem access, the programme enabled La Mobilière employees to bring fresh perspectives, partnerships and innovation approaches back into the organisation.
We partnered with Innovaud, the official innovation and investment promotion agency for the canton of Vaud, to strengthen innovation links between Switzerland and India in the areas of health, sustainability and digital transformation. As part of Team Switzerland India (which includes the Swiss Business Hub and the Embassy of Switzerland in India and Bhutan), we worked to facilitate connections between startups, companies, universities and research institutions in both countries, helping Innovaud’s network access relevant partners and opportunities in India. The collaboration focused on knowledge exchange, curated introductions, delegation visits and the identification of promising startups and research initiatives for potential cross-border collaboration.
We facilitated the visit of a delegation led by S.N. Boseraju, Minister for Minor Irrigation, Science & Technology in the Government of Karnataka, to Switzerland for the Swissnex AI Summit and the Geneva Science and Diplomacy Anticipation (GESDA) Summit in 2025. The delegation met with Swiss startups, research institutes and key stakeholders in the quantum ecosystem to explore potential collaborations in quantum technology.
We hosted Paula Suhner, Co-Lead of Swiss non-profit ActionJam, at our office for seven weeks in 2024. ActionJam is the Swiss Corporate Innovation Network and the cross-industry association consisting of 40 companies including AXA, IBM and Swisscom. Paula manages, coordinates and oversees various projects aiming to expand the Swiss innovation network, achieving active networking between the members and promoting mutual learning. In Bengaluru, Paula worked on her usual tasks, just with a change of scenery while she explored the city. She has a background in economics, a degree in gastronomy and is a trained chef.
