Discover how science can bridge global divides with ‘The Peace Particle Series’, presented by the Swiss diplomatic missions in India in collaboration with CERN. Through a series of screenings and discussions, the initiative explores how international scientific collaboration can foster dialogue, trust and cooperation in an increasingly fragmented world.

At the heart of the series is The Peace Particle (2025), a documentary film that reflects on CERN’s 70-year legacy as a place where scientists from around the world come together to pursue fundamental research. Featuring interviews with Nobel laureates, rare archival footage and an inside look at the Large Hadron Collider, the film explores how scientific collaboration can transcend political boundaries and contribute to dialogue, trust and peace.

The screenings will take place in Mumbai (31 August, by invitation only), New Delhi (1 September, by invitation only) and Bengaluru (10 September).
