Open Call | New Perspectives at the Trialogue Days

Researchers and other professionals across disciplines and career levels residing in India, Uganda or Switzerland can submit abstracts on a perspective of Planetary Health they would like to bring to the table to enrich the existing expertise of the Trialogue Days. Deadline is May 31.

The Trialogue Days is a community of researchers and practitioners across Uganda, India and Switzerland that meets every two years to discuss their research expertise in a truly interdisciplinary way with the intent to forge new transdisciplinary and intersectoral pathways for an integrative approach to health.

We invite interested, curious and motivated researchers and other professionals across disciplines and career levels to submit an abstract on a perspective they would like to bring to the table to enrich the existing expertise of the Trialogue Days in Zurich from August 30 to September 3, 2026.

  • Your submission should be in written format (300 words max), highlighting the area of research, your research interest and how your research links to other areas that you are not working on but are either impacting or impacted by their area. This can be now or in the future.

Submission Guidelines

  • Eligibility: Researchers or professionals residing in India, Uganda or Switzerland.
  • Format: Applications are only accepted through the application form. Applications sent through email will not be acknowledged or entertained.
  • AI Policy: Transparent declaration of the use of LLMs or generative AI in the drafting or data analysis process is mandatory.
  • Language: English is preferred; however, submissions in national languages are accepted if accompanied by a comprehensive English translation.

Selected Participants will

  • Participate in Trialogue Days 2026 from August 30 to September 3, 2026 in Zurich, Switzerland, and will present their research as part of the programme. The expectation is to stay for the whole duration to enable continued dialogue and discussions to build a stronger community that stays connected and potentially seeds new research questions, actionable outcomes and recommendations. There is potential for financial support for travel and accommodation on the basis of merit and subject to availability of funds.
