We are inviting Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD students and other early career stage researchers and young professionals from all fields (including life sciences, humanities, law, architecture, engineering, economics, business) from India, Uganda and Switzerland to submit original, action-oriented research questions and projects on Planetary Health to present at the Trialogue Days in Zurich from August 30 to September 3, 2026.

Your idea should be solution-oriented, original, inventive and grounded, while integrating interdisciplinary perspectives and holding potential for long-term impact.
Your submission must include an elevator pitch summary of the project or idea, along with the problem statement, methodology and findings or expected impact.
Your submission can be in either written format (300 words max) or video format (3 minutes max).
Final submission will be presented in a pitch format during the Trialogue Days. Details will be shared with the selected participants.
Submission Guidelines
Eligibility: Students (Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD), young researchers or professionals residing in India, Uganda or Switzerland.
Age limit: 30 years old, as on the date of submission.
Format: Applications are only accepted through the application form. Applications sent through email will not be acknowledged or entertained.
Originality: Only individual, original work is accepted.
AI Policy: Transparent declaration of the use of LLMs or generative AI in the drafting or data analysis process is mandatory.
Language: English is preferred; however, submissions in national languages are accepted if accompanied by a comprehensive English translation.
Selected Participants will
Participate in Trialogue Days 2026 from August 30 to September 3, 2026 in Zurich, Switzerland, with the potential of financial support for travel and accommodation on the basis of merit and subject to availability of funds.
Present their research through a presentation in front of around 80 researchers and participants from Uganda, Switzerland and India at the Trialogue Days 2026.
Join a network of researchers and practitioners, referred to as Trialoguers, who see and apply their research in the context of Planetary Health.
