Swiss cleantech company SoHHytec is entering India with its solar-to-hydrogen technology, partnering with TKIL Industries to enable local manufacturing and deployment, with its first plant expected by 2026.

Bengaluru | 7 October 2025: Swiss green hydrogen technology developer SoHHytec, known for its advanced solar-to-hydrogen production technology, is preparing a significant entry into the Indian market by establishing its presence through a partnership and planned local operations. As part of this expansion, SoHHytec is working with TKIL Industries in India (which has made a strategic investment in the company and will serve as its exclusive partner to manufacture and supply equipment, install projects and build a local supply chain under the “Make in India” initiative) with the first green hydrogen plant expected to be operational by the end of 2026. The collaboration marks a key milestone for SoHHytec’s international growth strategy, positioning the company to bring its proprietary artificial photosynthesis technology to India’s expanding clean energy sector and support the country’s broader green hydrogen goals.
