Swissnex in Brazil will offer a cocktail reception to celebrate the 9th Cycle of Academia-Industry Training, a bilateral program between Switzerland and Brazil, fostering science-based startups and developing sciencepreneurs since 2014. 

On the evening of November 8th, we will officially start and celebrate the training week of the AIT 9th cycle in Brazil, a successful bilateral program (BR-CH) to foster science-based startups and develop sciencepreneurs. In this event, the Swiss and Brazilian participants, mentors, partners, and actors from the team Switzerland in Brazil will be present and experience inspirational talks, pitches, and networking.

The Academia-Industry Program (AIT) is a Switzerland-Brazil bilateral Program held by Swissnex in collaboration with the University of St. Gallen (HSG), the Brazilian National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq), and the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation (MCTI). 

The initiative helps Brazilian and Swiss researchers to transform their science into market innovations, fostering cooperation in research, innovation, and internationalization and connecting science to business. AIT Brazil supported over 160 entrepreneurs.

This event will mark the kick-off for the AIT in 2022 and is exclusive to partners. It will be held on November 8th at the São Paulo Official Residence of the General Consul of Switzerland.
