The Swissnex network collaborates with a broad range of partners, including higher education and research institutions, governmental and publicly funded institutions, startups and innovation-driven companies, non-profit organizations, and creative industries linked to education, research, and innovation.
A SERI Initiative
Swissnex is an initiative of the Switzerland’s State Secretariat for Education, Research, and Innovation (SERI), headquartered in Bern. Abroad, it is part of the Swiss Confederation’s network managed by the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA). The Swissnex activities are based on a collaborative approach, relying on public and private partnerships and funding.
Official Network Abroad
As part of Switzerland’s official network abroad, Swissnex cooperates with other Swiss governmental entities such as Swiss embassies and consulate generals, Presence Switzerland, Swiss Business Hubs (Switzerland Global Enterprise), Switzerland Tourism, as well as Pro Helvetia. In Brazil, we also work closely with the Swiss Leading House for Latin America, a national funding instrument of the State Secretariat for Education, Research, and Innovation implemented by the University of St.Gallen.
