Anticipating and Shaping Responsible Tech Innovation for Eco-Systems

Join the UN Human Rights B-Tech Project, GESDA, and Swissnex in Brazil to discover how investors can drive ethical innovation in tech, sustainability, and human rights.

Promoting responsible technology development requires investment incentives that prioritize both human rights and planetary health. Emerging technologies- including artificial intelligence (AI), synthetic biology, evolutionary biology and genetic engineering allow for deliberate and strategic interactions with nature that are intended to create more resilient, robust and sustainable ecological systems. This includes activities that increase ecosystems’ diversity and functions.

To explore the crucial role of technology in driving a more transformative and equitable shift, the UN Human Rights B-Tech Project, the Geneva Science and Diplomacy Anticipator (GESDA), and Swissnex in Brazil, in collaboration with Project Liberty, invite you to join the in-person side event “Anticipating and Shaping Responsible Tech Innovation for Eco-system – Grounding Eco-augmentation practises in Human Rights, Data Agency and Responsible Tech Practises”, held in the conjunction with the PRI in Person conference.

The sessions offers a unique opportunity to discover how investors can drive responsible innovation in the data and AI economy, leveraging science and technology anticipation to identify emerging trends, promote ethical investment strategies, and discover sustainable business models that promote human and nature co-flourishing.

This is an official side event of PRI in Person 2025, taking place from 4–6 November in São Paulo. PRI in Person will bring together over 1,000 leaders and practitioners across the global investment ecosystem ahead of COP30. This unmissable event will feature high-level debate and insightful peer discussion on key strategic issues impacting your organisation, alongside extensive networking opportunities.
